Marathon

On 2026's Marathon reboot I was an Art Lead for many years, focused on Look Development. I was responsible for helping translate Art Direction's high-level goals into actionable executions across the many art disciplines (including Characters, Hard Surface, Environments, VFX, and Lighting). I was also responsible for interfacing with Graphics Engineering to make sure we could achieve all of our goals.

Toward the end of 2025 I moved into a Lighting Artist role, and worked on the Outpost zone. I was responsible for an area of the map known as Dormitories. This was achieved through a combination of real-time lighting, cubemap captures, and supporting elements like volumetric lighting, lens flares and light fixtures. The Lighting Team on Marathon is responsible for designing the lighting from start to finish, including direction and execution of placements. I worked alongside Kate Sullivan on this space and it was a fantastic experience to collaborate with her. Also big thanks to Ryan Kamins as the Lighting Lead to help guide my work, and Justin Mayle who helped out with finishing the enormous space.
